SOLID TORSION BARS AND SOLID ELIMINATOR "X" TORSION BARS

Our solid standard bar (4340) material is made in a superior vacuum melt electric furnace (aircraft quality) as opposed to open hearth furnace material, which does not respond to heat treatment as well because of impurities and grain structure. We feel that our standard bars are superior to any other brand of bars on the market!

Our Eliminator "X" torsion bars have been developed with an all new alloy material that is better than 4340. It contains amounts of nickel and chrome, etc. The advantage is a higher temperature material that Rockwells at 52 to 55 R.C., but is no more brittle than 46 to 48 R.C. 4340 bars. Therefore, you have a bar with just as much twist as a standard bar, but one that will last about twice as long as 4340 bars. Also, these new Eliminator "X" bars actually rebound quicker than 4340 bars. Eliminator "X" bars are NOT available in all sizes.

S146 Mini Sprint Solid Torsion Bar, with 3/4" X 48 spline and 3/4" bushing diameter. We stock these bars in 23" long and 24" long in the following sizes .675, .690 to. 750 by .010 and. 775.

S147 1" Solid Torsion Bar, with 1" X 48 spline and 1" bushing diameter. We stock these bars in 26" long, 28" long and 30" long in the following sizes. 750 to 1.000 by .025.

S15O 7/8" Solid Torsion Bar, with 7/8" X 48 spline and 7/8" bushing diameter. We stock these bars in 26" long in the following sizes .625 to 1.000 by .025. Note: that bars over .875 diameter are bigger in the center and one bushing must be removed to install bar.

S157 Solid Eliminator "X" Torsion Bar, with 1 1/8" X spline and 1 1/8" bushing diameter. We stock these bars in 23" long, 30" long and 35" long in the following sizes .900 to 1.125 by .025. Other sizes can be special ordered with a 50% deposit.
